California will give away travel packages for vacation destinations in the state as another incentive to get more people vaccinated against COVID-19. Ahead of California’s Tuesday reopening, Gov. As more people become vaccinated and more places begin reopening, the summer travel surge is upon us.

On Friday more than 2 million people traveled through Transportation Security Administration checkpoints for the first time since March 7, 2020, according to agency numbers.
