Nintendo expands into Singapore with new ‘local entity’

Newsbrief: Nintendo has established a foothold in Singapore to accelerate business in Southeast Asia.

In a brief note to investors, the Japanese company said it opened a new local entity called Nintendo Singapore on September 26, 2025. The new outfit will be overseen by managing director, Takahiro Miura. 

Nintendo said it is also considering establishing a local entity in the Kingdom of Thailand to similarly bolster its business in the region.
